We can now, at long last, announce that the best man at the wedding will be Justin Salamon. For those readers who don't know who Justin is, he has been a very close mutual friend throughout the whole time we've known each other.

Justin, like Mark, studied Computer Science at Cambridge and was also at Clare and, by a peculiar coincidence, they took almost exactly the same set of courses throughout their degrees. During this time, they were perhaps best known to many contemporary computer science students as prolific producers of doodles of lecturers.

For anyone who doesn't know Justin at all, here are a few key facts:

• He is an awesome jazz guitarist.
• He is an (often) hairy, (often) beardy Israeli.
• He is one of the coolest people you could hope to meet (a fact attested by anyone who's met him).
